Laundry FAQ

All our bookings are made online via our website. Simply head to our Home Page where you will find the area we service. Here you will see pickup days and times. If you have special requests add these into the booking notes and your launderer wiil see that when they receive the booking. If you want a regular booking, indicate this in the notes section and we setup up your booking as a recurring booking with reminders each week.

Trash bags work best or any kind of bag! Don’t worry about labelling or tagging your bags, our driver will do this for you. Your clean laundry will be returned in a reusable bag – These bags are supplied FOC with your first order. Subsequent bags can be purchased for a small fee.

Absolutely! We will ensure your hanging items are returned to you on your own hangers. If personal hangers are not sent in, Fluff n Fold will provide wire hangers at no additional cost.

On the day of your scheduled pick up, we will arrive at the allotted time. – Note while you have selected a time this could be up to 60 minutes either way. 

Your laundry should be ready in a bag – please do not send laundry baskets.

Please separate any stained items or items that need special care.

With the number of kgs we wash, our launderers are unable to check every care label.

Make sure to double check all pockets! Fluff n Fold is not responsible for items lost in the washor damaged by things left in pockets (Chapstick, crayons, markers, pens, lipstick, gum, tissue etc.).

From there your laundry will be taken care of by Fluff n Fold.

Your laundry will be returned within 24 hours at approx.the same time as it was picked up – however at times due to demand delivery may be delayed by 24 hours. Should this occur we will advise - All Saturday pickups will be returned Monday  - Note payment is to be made prior to delivery.

We recommend unbagging your items ASAP. This is especially important for duvets, down comforters, blankets etc.

No way! We never wash or dry your items with anyone else’s.

No, this is supposed to be easy for you, leave the sorting to us. We will sort into whites, colours and darks. However, should an item of clothing require special attention – bag this separately with easy-to-read instructions.

With the number of kgs we wash, we are not able to read individual label washing instructions. If you have items needing special care, please bag these separately with easy-to-read instructions. 

Yes, we do ironing.

No, at this stage we do not offer dry cleaning services.

Of course, it’s laundry! Let us take ALL your laundry off your hands.

Clients that prefer to keep their undergarments private may send them inside a mesh bag. We will wash dry & return undergarments in your mesh bag.

Of course – note there is an extra charge for this service – this will be quoted on receipt of the item, with a maximum charge of $15 per booking.

Please place all stained clothing in a separate bag and let us know by including a note in the bag or on your laundry profile and we’ll do our best to get it out. It is very useful to know the exact source of each stain, since the best treatment will vary by the type of stain and fabric type.

While we are usually successful at removing stains, we can’t guarantee we’ll be able to remove all stains.

If you can pre-treat the stains before putting the garment in the bag, it will increase the odds of success.

Your pickup/ drop off location should be a safe and secure location where you feel comfortable leaving your personal items. While this is different for everyone, customers often leave their orders at their front door, on their porch, or inside a secure gated area. Please note we are not able to enter any privately owned spaces or residences, so we are not able to enter your home, apartment, car, garage etc.

It is our routine to hang collared shirts, button up shirts, dresses, hooded sweatshirts, blouses, sweaters and slacks/ dress pants that have been ironed. If you have a request for something else to be placed on a hanger, just let us know. If you would like us to use your hangers, just send them in with your laundry (separate bag so as to not damage your clothes).

There is a minimum charge of $36.00 for all services. The pickup and delivery fee is FOC.

No we will do that for you.

Once weighed we will email you an invoice for payment to be made.

If you have a wreath hanger on your front door, we will hang your clothes there. Otherwise Fluff n Fold will provide FOC an over door hook that will allow your hanging items to be hung. If you’d like us to provide a door hanger, please let us know and we will deliver one when picking up your order.
